• - Commission and configure AC and Rapid DC EV chargers at client sites • - Carry out initial setup, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards • - Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maximise uptime and performance • - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related faults • - Conduct diagnostic testing, firmware updates, and calibration of EV chargers • - Replace faulty components or complete units in accordance with manufacturer guidelines • - Work closely with Service Coordination and Operations teams to ensure accurate job reporting and timely follow-up • - Collaborate with project and installation teams to support seamless deployment of charging infrastructure • - Provide on-site technical support and basic user guidance to clients • - Maintain tools, equipment, and company assets in good working condition • - Accurately document all service activities within the service management system • - Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and electrical standards • - Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programmes
• Essential ** • - Level 3 Electro-technical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent) • - 2–5 years’ hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair • - Experience working in SLA-driven environments • - Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters and voltage testers • - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex faults • - Good communication and customer-facing skills • - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • - Full UK driving licence • **Desirable ** • - Experience in EV charging, renewable energy, or power electronics • - EV charging certifications or manufacturer-specific training • - Experience working with Rapid DC, Ultra, or HPC chargers • - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals • - Understanding of analogue and digital electronics • - Strong awareness of site health & safety requirements
