📋 Description

• Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes • Oversee the general ledger and accuracy and completeness of financial records • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, year-end reporting schedules, and supporting analyses • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the close process • Coordinate the year-end financial statement audit and liaise with external auditors • Manage close schedules, deadlines, and completion of close activities • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff • Establish performance expectations and provide coaching and feedback • Partner with cross-functional teams and provide accounting guidance • Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and documentation • Support compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards • Assist with internal control documentation and testing • Identify and mitigate financial reporting and accounting risks • Improve accounting process efficiency and scalability • Support finance transformation, system implementation, and process automation initiatives • Participate in special projects, acquisitions, integrations, and strategic business initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation • Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement preparation, and technical accounting concepts • Experience managing or leading month-end and year-end close processes • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, index-match, lookups, form creations, and conditional formatting • Experience working with ERP systems • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
