📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Game Director, Design Director, and the Systems Design Lead to drive the vision for the major systems and systems balancing for a robust online multiplayer experience. • Create expert-level creative vision and technical guidance for our metagame experience, to include matchmaking systems, ELO algorithms and theories, skills systems, currencies and economy, and weapon/ability balancing. • Advocate for the player at all times, putting the player experience first when considering and making all design decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• At least two shipped AAA titles where you worked in a systems design capacity, with at least one of those titles in the multiplayer competitive space. • Knowledge of how to best utilize player data to balance game systems in a live environment. • Working knowledge of off-the-shelf design tools, and expertise with Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred). • Professional understanding of the many major metagame systems found in contemporary game titles, and a keen know-how for how those systems work. • Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills. • Exceptional communication skills.
