📋 Description

• Own Everfield Payments pricing end-to-end, including strategy, policy, tooling, and business-unit implementation • Enable commercial teams and leadership to understand payments economics and sell profitably • Work with stakeholders on input costs, reconciliation, P&L margin impact, and sales enablement • Design pricing, discount, and incentive strategies for payments and payment hardware • Develop and implement margin management and regular profitability monitoring across regions and portfolio companies • Manage re-pricing and monitoring of back-book customers • Own enablement-tooling requirements and work with the development team to deliver them • Run profitability monitoring across business units and markets • Lead re-pricing of low-margin back-book merchants and develop proactive merchant re-pricing strategies • Support business units with complex deals, RFPs, and negotiations • Train and coach business units, build playbooks and templates, and develop local champions

🎯 Requirements

• Proven capability to operate effectively at all levels and gain the confidence of colleagues and senior management • Deep, hands-on knowledge of payments economics, including interchange, scheme fees, and IC++ versus blended pricing • Current use of AI tools to improve efficiency and contribution • Significant experience in a commercial pricing role within a high transaction volume business, ideally in payments • Ability to explain payments economics clearly to people without payments experience • Self-directed approach and ability to set the agenda for the function • Experience pricing across several European markets with different competitive dynamics (desirable) • Experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment (desirable) • Comfort with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data tools (desirable) • Role can be based in the UK, Spain, Holland, Germany, Poland, or France
