📋 Description

• Lead the deployment of unified dashboards delivering real-time visibility into application performance, system health, and user activity across multiple data sources. • Ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of proactive alerting mechanisms with the objective of detecting performance bottlenecks and system errors promptly. • Oversee synthetic user monitoring by managing alerting for scripted transactions simulating internal and external user interactions to proactively identify issues before they impact end-users. • Collaborate effectively with various technical teams (infrastructure, database, application support, monitoring teams) to ensure monitoring solutions align with technical architecture and operational requirements. • Manage and support the Environments Analyst, providing guidance on tasks, professional development, and alignment with project goals. • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the monitoring and alerting framework and adapt to evolving application and infrastructure needs. • Prepare and deliver weekly reports to management that include key achievements, current blockers or risks, and percentage completion of key monitoring deliverables and milestones.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Stakeholder management for project co-ordination, reporting and governance. • Solid understanding of infrastructure architecture and how components such as networks, servers, applications etc interact. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary technical teams. • Proven experience in Linux system administration. • Proven experience optimising dashboards and alerting systems. • Knowledge of MS SQL for building database queries. • Familiarity with Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Elastic, Prometheus. • Experience with synthetic monitoring tools such as ThousandEyes is an advantage. • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) to support automation and integration tasks.
