📋 Description

• Identify, evaluate, pilot, and scale AI tools that improve People team workflows while balancing adoption speed, data privacy, and quality • Audit, redesign, and document core People processes including onboarding, performance management, compensation cycles, and offboarding • Partner with PeopleOps and functional leaders to roll out process optimizations and drive adoption • Help shape Extend's company-wide AI strategy and train People team members and managers on effective AI tool use • Own the accuracy and reporting of core People metrics including headcount, attrition, hiring, and engagement • Maintain data integrity across the HRIS and other People systems • Build dashboards and leadership-ready reports for workforce trends, planning, forecasting, and self-service insights • Design and administer employee surveys and conduct ad hoc analyses • Develop compensation, promotion, and calibration analyses supporting pay equity and talent decisions • Ensure People data practices comply with privacy regulations and internal governance standards • Contribute to varied People team projects in a fast-paced startup environment

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally in HR transformation, people analytics, or a related operational/analytical role • Experience optimizing operational processes • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Glean, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, and Gemini • Ability to drive AI adoption across teams with varying levels of technical comfort • Strong skill in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, or similar • Strong understanding of core People metrics, including headcount, attrition, time-to-fill, and engagement • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives • Strong attention to detail and rigorous approach to data accuracy and quality • Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize across multiple stakeholders • Sound judgment around data privacy and confidentiality • Collaborative, low-ego, hands-on approach • Experience partnering with HRBPs, Recruiting, and People Operations teams is a plus • Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field • Must not require immigration-related sponsorship for this role
