📋 Description

• Design and evolve scalable backend systems within a modern .NET ecosystem • Build and maintain backend APIs and services using C# and .NET • Work within a clean architecture and microservices-based ecosystem using UseCases, repositories, and domain entities • Design and implement backend workflows and REST APIs • Write maintainable, testable, and production-ready code • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions • Work with SQL databases, Entity Framework, and transactional workflows • Collaborate with frontend engineers on multi-step workflows and API contracts • Contribute to customer-centric platforms involving onboarding workflows, orchestration, and integrations across internal and external systems

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience • Experience working in the banking, fintech or financial industries and/or products • Strong experience with C# and .NET • Experience building REST APIs • Good understanding of clean architecture or layered architecture • Experience with Entity Framework, SQL, and relational databases • Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and microservices-based systems • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Fluency in English • Experience in CRM or onboarding platforms (Nice to Have) • Understanding of concurrency, idempotency, and workflow orchestration (Nice to Have) • Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native services (Nice to Have) • Candidates must hold a valid EU passport or work permit for Portugal if based in Portugal, or UK passport/work permit if based in the UK
