📋 Description

• Personally design, build, and evolve the harness for AI coding agents • Build and maintain feedforward guides, reusable skills, architectural rules, reference documentation, and codemods • Build feedback sensors including custom linters, structural and architecture-fitness tests, verification loops, and LLM-as-judge reviewers • Own regional AI governance, authority boundaries, LLM testing infrastructure, and quality, safety, and compliance thresholds • Define and own cross-organizational QA and quality-gating standards • Run the steering loop to engineer controls that prevent recurring agent mistakes • Manage repository knowledge as the system of record and continuously fight knowledge drift • Decide where controls run across the path to production, from pre-commit checks to post-integration and continuous sensors • Establish observability into agent work and track measures such as cost per merged PR, time-to-merge, review velocity, defect escape rate, and agent-PR survival rate • Manage, coach, and grow a geographically distributed team of harness engineers • Partner with stakeholders to attract talent, set goals, and measure and reward performance • Collaborate with engineering leaders and product management to turn specifications and acceptance criteria into enforceable controls • Align the harness with platform and delivery roadmaps • Provide internal enablement, presentations, and thought leadership on agent-augmented engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related discipline, or relevant commercial experience in software architecture, design, development, and testing • Strong software engineering background with large, complex codebases • Hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex • Experience building engineering tooling across modern stacks, including linters, static analysis, CI/CD pipelines, containerized build/test environments, and instrumentation/observability • Familiarity with agent instruction conventions such as AGENTS.md • Experience with spec-driven development, context engineering, agent orchestration, fitness functions, and developer-platform work • Ability to encode quality standards into mechanical, repeatable rules • Judgment regarding deterministic computational controls versus inferential LLM-based controls • Demonstrated experience owning AI governance and cross-organizational quality standards • Experience establishing LLM testing infrastructure and quality gating for AI-generated artifacts • Working knowledge of autonomous-agent security, including prompt injection, tool and permission scoping, sandboxed execution, and audit trails • Strong experience managing geographically distributed, high-performing engineering teams • Experience navigating organizational change from AI adoption • Excellent communication skills
