📋 Description

• Develop backend systems for AI-native construction procurement software • Own data models, API design, and distributed systems processing semantics • Work with Go, GraphQL, and Postgres to build sophisticated data models aligned with ERPs • Build and maintain bidirectional integrations across 13+ construction systems and an on-prem connector • Work with REST APIs, ODBC, COM, and other integration technologies • Develop systems using generative AI, optimization algorithms, LLMs, and RAGs for document extraction and workflow automation • Build separate services where appropriate and use ACID transactions whenever possible • Design complex authorization and approval workflows • Contribute to in-house GraphQL observability and metric-oriented evaluation systems • Iterate rapidly on products and requirements based on customer feedback

🎯 Requirements

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience • 2-5+ years of production level experience in Backend Engineering, preferably in Go • Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their real-world use cases • Experience working with SQL databases and complex data models • Experience with distributed systems • Experience with GraphQL, LLMs, and observability is a plus • Excited about startups and new products • Enjoy solving complex problems and iterating fast • Comfortable with evolving specifications and iterative product development • Care about system and code design • Enjoy building complex business applications that scale with new requirements and modules • Interest in products with massive economic impact and FinTech
