📋 Description

• Design and evolve entities, metrics, and data products in the central model with tests, lineage, and documentation • Build and maintain pipelines • Onboard new data sources independently • Maintain CI/CD and data quality checks • Participate in migrations • Interview stakeholders, understand their processes, and scope their needs • Connect data work to business cost and value • Participate in recurring reporting, including regulatory and audit cycles, reconciliations, and business data requests • Build LLM steps into reporting and metric pipelines for translation, classification, basic aggregation, and unstructured-data preparation • Evaluate LLM output quality as part of delivery • Expose the semantic layer to internal tools and agents through MCP and APIs • Work with engineering on shared standards • Prepare reproducible and traceable data for agentic tools, company-wide AI harnesses, and external recipients • Set long-term goals with stakeholders, own a domain roadmap, and mentor others on semantic-layer and analytics-engineering practice

🎯 Requirements

• Expert SQL skills • Strong dimensional or semantic data modelling skills • Working Python skills, with tests and version control • Experience building metrics and semantic layers • ETL and data warehouse or lakehouse experience, including onboarding data sources end to end • Hands-on production experience using LLMs for data work, such as classification, extraction, translation, or agents used by others • Ability to understand business processes, propose solutions, and frame them in terms of business value • Databricks and Unity Catalog are nice to have • Hands-on experience with or solid understanding of MCP, tool calling, tracing, and evals for LLM applications and agents is nice to have • Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n is nice to have • CI/CD, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code experience are nice to have • Fintech or banking background, or experience in another high-volume operational-flow business, is nice to have • Ability to work in English
