📋 Description

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Flock's aviation hardware portfolio, balancing near-term customer priorities, technical constraints, and long-term hardware vision. • Partner directly with Engineering and Test Pilots to drive product development end-to-end across hardware subsystems, embedded software, connectivity, and cloud interfaces. • Translate customer feedback, flight operational data, and evolving FAA and FCC regulations into concrete hardware requirements and technical strategy. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Test Pilots, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver customer-focused hardware solutions. • Build technical fluency across the platform architecture to evaluate technical tradeoffs, guide engineering priorities, and represent product strategy to stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven product management experience in complex technical environments where hardware, software, and operational systems intersect. • Demonstrated success partnering deeply with engineering teams on technical tradeoffs, scoping, execution, and roadmap planning. • Capability to learn domain-specific regulatory constraints and integrate them into product strategy and hardware development. • Strong customer instinct and market judgment, with the ability to connect user needs to product execution. • Familiarity with aviation, autonomous systems, robotics, drones, or similarly regulated hardware spaces is preferred but not required.
