📋 Description

• Analyse, design and develop tests to build robust new features in an agile environment • Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing and new systems and platforms • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement • Work alongside other engineers and scientists to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices • Participate in projects involving several engineers • Support other engineers • Contribute to hiring future coworkers and shape candidates’ hiring experience, including improving the technical assessment process

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working with Smalltalk or as software engineer for the life insurance sector is required • Hands-on experience working with technologies • Strong analytical skills • Team spirit • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Master’s degree in engineering, PhD degree in science or equivalent experience • Fluent English; English is the working language • French or Italian is a plus
