📋 Description
• You will be responsible for designing programs, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting enterprise system software • Participate in the development and delivery of deliverables to clients as a team member • Work with other team developers to help remove technical roadblocks • Assist in resolving Websmart issues by diagnosing IBM i problems (libraries, lists, jobs, etc.) • Create user-defined functions via TDOMS • Perform code reviews for table/file logical change requests • Verify that file data is copied correctly during production promotion • Identify opportunities to implement automation to help improve process speed and quality • Document new and existing applications and systems
🎯 Requirements
• More than 10 years of experience with proven expertise on IBM i (iSeries, AS/400), DB2 database, and RPGLE language • Recent experience programming and analyzing in the following systems: RPGILE, free-format RPGLE, SQL and embedded SQL in RPG • Advanced DB2 application programming • Good understanding of ILE concepts: Modules, Service Programs, etc. • Effective communication with all levels of staff and management • Eligibility to work in Canada • Asset: Experience developing IBM i tools and/or frameworks of any kind
