📋 Description

• Serve as a technical anchor for Garner’s security function • Lead technical security design and review processes for security-critical systems • Ensure new features meet standards for data protection and resilience • Apply technical security expertise to complex business and technical challenges • Identify inefficient or insufficient technical paths and redirect efforts toward higher ROI • Create and implement automated defenses for security monitoring and incident response • Translate broad security objectives into defined deliverables and architectural requirements • Provide high-level feedback during code and design reviews • Foster a security-first development culture

🎯 Requirements

• Proven ability to make high-stakes technical security decisions • Ability to analyze root causes and prioritize security initiatives based on risk reduction • Ability to communicate complex security risks to technical and non-technical partners • Ability to develop creative solutions to reduce technical debt and improve security infrastructure efficiency • Ability to handle complex escalations and security incidents with disciplined analysis and comprehensive resolution • Mastery of one or more technical security domains, such as Cloud Security, AppSec, or Data • Experience or proficiency with Python, Kubernetes, Snowflake, AWS, Terraform, Wiz, and Cyberhaven • Desire to contribute to a high-performing, mission-driven team
