📋 Description

• Oversee the design of the cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency • Ensure the cloud environment meets both short and long-term goals • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud architectures in enterprise settings • Execute cloud migration strategies including rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring • Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or Ansible • Define and govern architecture standards and frameworks to support high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability • Apply best practices in cloud security, compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53), and IAM • Manage cost optimization, resource monitoring, and performance tuning for cloud-native services • Implement and operate containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes • Integrate cloud platforms with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning and deployments • Lead technical design sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with mission and organizational objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT • At least five (5) years of direct experience designing and managing cloud-based solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or hybrid/multi-cloud environments • One or more advanced certifications from major cloud service providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional) • Additional certifications may include: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, ISC Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), ITIL v4 Foundation or equivalent
