📋 Description

• Oversee end-to-end delivery, reliability, and optimization of large-scale computing clusters, storage systems, and specialized software stacks • Monitor daily infrastructure performance, track bottlenecks, and manage compute clusters, job schedulers, and parallel file systems • Ensure SLAs, uptime commitments, and vendor contracts are met • Maintain data privacy, regulatory standards, and internal security policies • Track and enforce SLAs and KPIs to meet or exceed client expectations • Serve as the primary client contact for communication, escalations, service reviews, and feedback • Coordinate major incident responses, root-cause analysis, and downtime reduction • Coordinate with engineering, support desks, and operations teams on contract-related service delivery • Apply ITIL frameworks to streamline processes and improve service quality • Review and develop required contract deliverable documentation • Manage assigned personnel through performance management, development, engagement, conflict resolution, communication, delegation, and diversity and inclusion initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Engineering • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline • 10+ years of related experience • 7 to 15 years of IT infrastructure or technical service delivery experience • Deep technical background in Linux systems administration, cluster orchestration, or cloud-based HPC platforms • Experience in IT service management, technical operations, or project management • Direct exposure to HPC environments, parallel computing, or AI/GPU clusters • Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL principles and cluster management tools • Strong communication, conflict resolution, vendor management, technical writing, and analytical problem-solving skills • US Citizenship required • Must currently possess NACI (T1) public trust/other requirement • Less than 10% travel required
