📋 Description
• Perform differential expansion, radial and axial clearance calculations for projects • Check axial thrust calculations for new units and service upgrades • Technical leader on clearances and thrust for the GPT Steam Turbine team • Support shop and site crew for issues related to clearances, thrust, and component alignment • Support NPI and feasibility studies for new technology features • Maintain and update related design practices and documentation
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or high school diploma with relevant experience) • Proven engineering experience in Steam Turbine design and/or operability • Proficiency in English • Knowledge of thrust and rotodynamic concepts • Basic technical understanding of Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine or other turbomachinery products
