• Oversee the technical integrity, safety, and quality of high-voltage AIS and GIS projects. • Manage the successful installation, maintenance, and commissioning of critical infrastructure. • Act as the primary point of contact between the AIS/GIS product unit and service clients. • Provide regular updates on project progress and any product issues to the AIS/GIS Project Manager. • Lead daily management and task allocation for field teams. • Foster a culture of safety on-site, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in safety standards.
🎯 Requirements
• Extensive hands-on experience in substation primary plant construction and installation techniques. • Familiarity with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-voltage AIS/GIS equipment and related infrastructure. • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and safety standards, particularly the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. • Capability to manage quality assurance processes, including identifying and documenting nonconformities. • Formal education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (such as City & Guilds, ONC, HND, or equivalent) is nice to have.
