• Oversee and execute all technical, construction, and commissioning activities on customer sites • Ensure safe, timely, and high‑quality delivery from site mobilisation through to final handover • Take ownership of the full commissioning lifecycle • Coordinate civil works, erection activities, and system commissioning • Manage day‑to‑day operations and interface with customers • Drive successful execution across multidisciplinary teams • Promote and uphold a strong site safety culture • Lead the testing and commissioning of substation equipment • Manage and direct daily commissioning resources on site • Prepare, issue, and maintain all required site documentation • Act as the LV Authorised Person (Advanced) • Serve as a key technical leader by resolving commissioning challenges independently • Organise and execute commissioning activities to agreed programmes
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) • Strong technical experience with HV substation protection relays • SCADA systems knowledge • IEC 61850 protocols expertise • Proven capability in fault‑finding on protection schemes using tools such as Omicron, Programma, and Megger • Computer‑literate and comfortable with digital tools and test software • Practical understanding of construction and field service operations • Experience within the North & South Europe Grid System Integration (GSI) environment • Strong communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and site personnel
