📋 Description

• Shape products from the beginning by defining what should be built, delayed, or cut • Build from zero and ship quickly from concept to prototype to production • Deliver products that reach users immediately and generate learning • Make foundational decisions about tools, architecture, and technical tradeoffs • Learn directly from users, pressure-test assumptions, and adapt to changing signals • Evaluate usefulness, usability, differentiation, and economic soundness alongside technical feasibility • Operate in small teams with minimal process and rapid daily progress • Help determine whether opportunities become features, products, or companies • Collaborate with engineering, design, product, research, and venture leadership • Contribute to multiple AI-native ventures within the venture studio

🎯 Requirements

• Meaningful zero-to-one engineering experience • Experience leading major technical initiatives and shaping engineering strategy • Experience building modern full-stack web products • TypeScript across the stack • React-based frontends • Node.js backend services • PostgreSQL and cloud-native infrastructure • Experience with foundation model APIs, including OpenAI and Anthropic • Knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling, agent workflows, and evaluation • Strong architectural and tooling judgment • Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and make product, technical, and execution decisions • Ability to overlap with core Central Time working hours • Willingness to travel occasionally for planning sessions, venture work, or team gatherings • Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
