📋 Description

• Manage operational objectives for assigned teams involved in researching and developing new digital products, services, and technologies • Improve existing digital products, services, and technologies • Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and procedures • Manage day-to-day team operations and foster a collaborative, innovative culture • Participate in hands-on software development as needed • Organize, delegate, and oversee development engineering tasks and deliverables • Allocate resources to support development projects and optimize productivity • Implement and oversee quality assurance, code reviews, testing, and debugging • Ensure Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban are implemented • Monitor industry trends, technologies, and best practices • Collaborate with product management, design, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders • Identify, manage, escalate, and mitigate project risks and challenges • Drive continuous improvement and process enhancements • Validate software development solutions with potential consumers and select the best approach • Participate in technical decision-making and solution development • Manage technical documentation and project roadmaps • Recommend project and programme budgets • Provide technical expertise for products in development and product improvements • Review research outcomes to inform direction and decision-making • Analyze markets and trends to determine research priorities • Manage innovation and development through technical market awareness • Inspire, coach, mentor, and support team members’ growth and development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Management, Business Administration, or related field • Relevant project management/agile certifications such as PMP, CSM, PSPO, or POPM are advantageous • Extended communication skills and excellent decision-making abilities • Ability to lead and manage technical personnel, delegate work, and enable independent work • Ability to present technical and complex matters to diverse audiences • Ability to analyze data, produce reports, and recommend resolutions • Ability to evaluate risks, priorities, and business benefits • Ability to coordinate team activities and manage deliverables • Attention to detail and ability to work independently • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Ability to keep current with trends, client insights, and competitive strategies • Significant independent, analytical, and creative work regarding procedures, planning, and follow-up • Extended understanding of markets, trends, and market analysis • Extended knowledge of Agile development practices and principles • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving IT industry • Extended knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies • Extended proficiency in programming languages and software development frameworks • Extended demonstrated experience building, managing, and leading high-performance software development, engineering, and/or architecture teams • Extended demonstrated experience delivering large software projects using Agile methodology • Extended demonstrated experience in new product introduction, design changes, and upgrades through production • Extended experience in IT within a complex business environment and translating technical concepts into business terms • Extended demonstrated experience in coaching and training facilitation • Proven working experience in a large-scale organization • Extended demonstrated experience negotiating with or managing vendors and third-party service providers • Proven track record accomplishing individual and team goals • Extended demonstrated experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
