📋 Description

• Lead and advise Gartner clients by researching emerging technology and trends within cybersecurity markets, specifically AI data security and AI ecosystem data management • Create and deliver strategic and tactical advice and research content for Technology CEOs, Product and Innovation Leaders, Product Managers and Marketing professionals • Produce written research reports, presentations, teleconference inquiries and briefings • Mentor and guide research on the evolution and impacts of emerging technologies in the security market • Develop thought-leading advice on the emergence, adoption and disruptions of emerging technologies worldwide • Work with Gartner clients and their teams in meetings, as a speaker face-to-face or via videoconference • Grow the ETT team’s network of thought leaders, startups and vendors for interviews and case-based research • Provide tailored inquiries and briefings for Gartner clients on emerging technologies in security markets • Ensure integrity of the team’s research and analysis • Collaborate with adjacent analysts, case-based researchers and service delivery associates across Gartner • Individual contributor role without direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; Graduate degree preferred or equivalent experience in cybersecurity field with specific relevance to AI data security and AI ecosystem data management • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience • Subject matter expertise in AI data security and AI ecosystem data management markets • Familiarity with cloud and on-premises data visibility, classification, monitoring and protection • Knowledge of data management for AI model training, management, learning and governance • Knowledge of data security for data at rest, in-flight and in use, including encryption and tokenization • Knowledge of AI security platform architecture as it relates to data management • Experience with or ability to quickly learn Pitchbook, CapIQ, TechCrunch, Bloomberg and other forecast/financial data sources • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills • Ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data and applying patterns and frameworks • Ability to explain complex concepts concisely and simply • Comfortable presenting at large- and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable
