📋 Description

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety, health, and security programs • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements • Serve as subject matter expert and primary contact for safety, health, and security matters • Partner with operations, HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and external agencies • Conduct risk assessments, compliance audits, and security surveys • Analyze safety incidents, loss trends, and operational data • Lead investigations and ensure accurate documentation and reporting • Develop actionable insights, metrics, and leadership reporting mechanisms • Design and deliver safety and security training programs • Develop and implement action plans to improve safety performance and reduce risk and loss • Participate in process reviews and job hazard analyses • Build cross-functional relationships and promote a culture of safety, security, accountability, and continuous improvement • Travel domestically by road, rail, and air as required, up to 85%

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience • Experience with Microsoft Office • Availability for a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime • Ability to travel up to 85% • REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport • Ability to comply with TSA security procedures • Ability to travel domestically by road, rail, and air • 4 years of experience in a security-related industry preferred • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience preferred • Membership in a nationally recognized safety organization preferred • 5 years of experience managing safety and health programs in an industrial or warehouse environment preferred • Certification in W-Z interviews and interrogations preferred • Experience in distribution network and logistics environments preferred • Project management, investigations, and training experience preferred • CCTV-alarm technical comprehension preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills • Ability to identify and resolve problems • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships and build trust through fairness, honesty, and openness
