📋 Description

• Build and run cloud-native applications with TypeScript and React • Develop internal services deploying to AWS using serverless and container-based infrastructure • Establish and maintain automated test coverage • Write high-quality, secure and performant code • Advocate for continuous improvement in quality, security, performance and CI/CD processes • Document solutions and drive architectural decisions within the team • Participate in working groups and communities of practice • Provide engineering support for existing applications when necessary • Coach and mentor peers • Engage with external stakeholders including security, enterprise architecture and downstream service consumers • Evangelise best practices and help the team avoid anti-patterns

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience with TypeScript, AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code • Experience developing and maintaining React-based JavaScript SPAs • Experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing tools and practices • Experience onboarding, integrating and managing third-party platforms • Understanding of microservices architectures and RESTful API development • Experience operating within Agile development teams • Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript • Working knowledge of modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including React and Hono or equivalent • Understanding of OAuth 2 and OpenID Connect flows • Knowledge of JSON Web Tokens and asymmetric cryptography concepts • Fluent use of Git, GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD and Trunk Based Development concepts • Awareness of website performance and accessibility best practices • Ability to write, assist in writing or reviewing technical documentation • Excellent written and verbal communication with good numerical skills • No employment sponsorship is available
