📋 Description

• Handle complex contentious employment work • Advise businesses of different sizes across a variety of sectors • Provide day-to-day employment law support to SMEs and larger companies • Advise on business restructures and redundancies, including collective redundancies • Oversee discrimination and whistle-blowing cases • Advise on TUPE transfers, including corporate support • Draft consultancy agreements and advise on employment status, including IR35 • Draft and advise on director service agreements and contracts of employment • Manage disciplinary and grievance processes • Handle senior executive severances • Build strong client relationships and deliver practical, commercially focused advice • Collaborate with senior lawyers to deliver exceptional client service • Use technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years PQE as an employment lawyer • Particular interest and experience in contentious employment work • General employment law experience supporting SMEs and larger companies • Experience with business restructures and redundancies, including collective redundancies • Experience overseeing discrimination and whistle-blowing cases • Experience advising on TUPE transfers, including corporate support • Knowledge of IR35 and experience drafting consultancy agreements and advising on employment status • Experience drafting and advising on director service agreements and contracts of employment • Experience managing disciplinary and grievance processes • Experience handling senior executive severances • Commercially minded with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver practical advice • Tech-savvy and self-starting • Ability to adapt to new systems and technologies • Interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Ability to navigate SharePoint confidently to manage and collaborate on work • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, modern and technology-enabled environment • Keen eye for detail when drafting documents • No agencies
