📋 Description

• Execute Systems Technician field responsibilities, including plant tissue, water, runoff, nutrient, and pathogen sampling; equipment diagnostics; system validation; environmental measurements; data capture; facility documentation; and asset tracking • Conduct structured cultivation assessments to evaluate systemic performance and operational inefficiencies • Evaluate VPD, temperature, humidity, airflow distribution, lighting uniformity, PPFD mapping, and DLI alignment • Assess source water quality, nutrient solution chemistry, fertigation configuration, irrigation distribution, emitter performance, and dosing calibration • Conduct EC and pH sampling, dry-back and hydration pattern analysis, and root-zone stress diagnostics • Diagnose plant nutrient deficiencies or toxicities, pest and pathogen pressure, crop-steering alignment, and cultivar-specific performance issues • Review sanitation protocols, spray schedules, biological control programs, and recurring pest-pressure root causes • Document lighting, environmental, fertigation, and facility infrastructure assets, including serial numbers and system modifications • Interpret laboratory and facility data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and measurable performance drivers • Design corrective and preventative cultivation strategies and recommend structured testing cadences • Produce a written Cultivation Health Report after each scheduled facility visit, including risks, corrective actions, next steps, timelines, and performance trends • Update CRM and internal systems for continuity and data accuracy • Recommend service tiers, recurring testing plans, and optimization tracks within the Grow Optimization Program • Collaborate with account executives, lab services, AgTech and data teams, cultivation strategists, service advisors, and operations coordinators • Maintain biosecurity, facility etiquette, documentation discipline, and professional standards across client sites

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in commercial cannabis or controlled environment agriculture required • Advanced knowledge of plant nutrition, irrigation strategy, crop steering, and environmental control systems • Experience interpreting lab data, including tissue, water, runoff, and pathogen reports, and translating findings into structured cultivation strategy • Familiarity with AgTech sensor platforms, fertigation systems, and facility-level diagnostics • Strong written communication skills; ability to produce clear, professional Cultivation Health Reports • Experience with CRM systems and digital reporting platforms • Ability to operate independently and with sound judgment in regulated commercial environments • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly across assigned service territory • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Comfortable working in humid, high-light, active production environments
