📋 Description

• Generate and summarize data preparation, analytics, management reporting, and ad hoc reporting for the Product Category Management team • Compile and analyze sales, cost, gross margin, commissions, product categories, cost adjustments, pricing, zone, and regional data • Track strengths, weaknesses, and internal and external trends affecting products or categories • Create reports and compile data to support business strategy and product-line development and maintenance • Onboard and mentor new and entry-level team members as needed • Compile information and create reporting to measure performance and trends for product categories and suppliers • Perform data warehouse reporting, data manipulation, and analysis for business trends and ad hoc requests • Create reporting tools and methodologies for marketing adjustments and their maintenance and rationalization • Review and manage market adjustments, analyze market price changes including GPO contracts, and provide information to Product Category Managers • Conduct analysis to determine profitability models for products, customers, and suppliers • Support sales tracing, performance rebate, quarterly rebate projection, and supplier marketing program reporting • Maintain related program elements, including invoicing suppliers for monthly and quarterly programs • Support tracking and monitoring of distribution agreement compliance and resolve non-compliance issues with Pricing and Support teams • Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Finance, and other internal teams • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties • Navigate the Henry Schein organization and understand department interdependencies

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline (preferred education) • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and daily tasks • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills • Working knowledge of data warehouse and Global Vendor reporting • JDE system experience is a plus • Strong knowledge of Excel, including complex formulas, pivots, large datasets, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data manipulation • Proficiency with PowerPoint • Experience with MS Access is very helpful and/or basic knowledge to learn such software tools • Understanding of how data comes together from each source • Attention to detail, accuracy, and urgency for reporting • Ability to interpret data and solve problems • Basic understanding of industry practices • General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures • Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques • Good decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • Basic presentation and public speaking skills • Basic interpersonal skills • Developing professional credibility • Travel typically less than 10%
