📋 Description

• Serve as the primary legal partner to HR and business leaders on day-to-day employment matters across APAC and EMEA • Advise across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, leaves of absence, accommodations, and separations • Design and build scalable global Employment Legal programs, including template libraries, playbooks, policies, and training • Lead cross-border projects including market entry, reorganizations, workforce transitions, and M&A-related integration • Conduct and oversee internal investigations and partner with Litigation on employment-related disputes and claims • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and translate changes into practical guidance and compliance updates • Draft, review, and localize employment agreements, offer letters, employee handbooks, restrictive covenants, and separation agreements • Advise on global immigration and visa matters, including UK and EU sponsorship, work authorization, and UK sponsor license compliance • Partner with the People team on compensation, benefits, and workforce programs • Drive compliance audits covering wage and hour, pay equity, and worker classification, and guide remediation • Deliver training on labor and employment legal developments and drive adoption of best practices • Use data and trends to identify systemic workforce risk and recommend mitigation strategies • Report to the Managing Counsel, Employment and partner with HR, People, Litigation, and business leaders

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. or equivalent law degree • Active bar admission or a practicing qualification in a relevant jurisdiction • 7+ years of employment law experience post-law school graduation • Substantial experience advising on employment matters in APAC and/or EMEA • Experience navigating multi-jurisdictional, cross-border employment issues at a fast-growing, global company • Experience building or scaling employment law programs, including policies, templates, training, and audits • Comfort advising outside your home jurisdiction and coordinating local/outside counsel • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex legal issues into practical guidance • Ability to work autonomously through ambiguity and manage a high-volume, multi-region workload • English fluency required • Proficiency in an additional language such as German, French, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Japanese is a strong plus
