📋 Description

• Own the integrations and supply technical direction for Voyagu's air-travel platform • Lead one of five platform development streams and report to the CTO • Work directly with the founder and business stakeholders without a product-manager layer • Build integrations with GDS systems • Connect airline direct APIs and non-GDS protocols across multiple sources • Handle post-sale servicing, including changes, cancellations, refunds, and split group bookings • Work with live, real-time availability • Design reliable systems using practices such as idempotency to prevent duplicate purchases or payments • Keep solutions appropriately sized for Voyagu's scale and maintain system stability • Define and defend technical vision with stakeholders • Translate platform capabilities into features and provide estimates • Build and direct teams of AI coding agents rather than writing code by hand • Explain and defend effective AI usage • Onboard and lead the two people already working in this direction • Hire sparingly, with hiring as a last resort • Complete a three-stage application process: CTO engineering interview, founder travel-domain interview, and practical case with defence

🎯 Requirements

• About two or more years of experience in the travel domain, especially integrations with supply systems • Understanding of booking versus ticket, and the statuses and states of each • Experience owning a large piece of a product • Staff or senior-level experience as an architect and technical lead • Understanding of Voyagu's business and ability to communicate with stakeholders • Advanced use of AI beyond beginner level and a clear view of effective AI use • Belief in small-team working and lean organizations • Work in a European time zone; ideally based in Europe • Russian language required for engineering work • English at B2 level is sufficient for business teams • Nice to have: experience in both corporate and lean startup/bootstrap scaleup environments • Nice to have: experience running teams of AI agents • Nice to have: vendor-side experience building for end users • Python is the current main stack, but language skill is not important • High-load experience, writing agent skills, and deep C#/legacy aviation knowledge are not required
