📋 Description

• Independently develop and refactor products to meet customer and associate needs • Create, deploy, test, maintain, and support production software applications • Develop functional and destructive test suites to enable rapid code deployment • Participate in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring • Collaborate with team members in agile processes • Work with Product Teams to ensure user stories are valuable, developer-ready, understandable, and testable • Provide clear communications tailored to different audiences • Guide junior engineers on modern software development frameworks • Lead technical discussions and support delivery of assigned modules and features • Report to a Software Engineer Manager or Senior Manager • No travel required

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • 2-4 years of relevant work experience preferred • Experience building and supporting high-volume, enterprise-scale backend applications processing financial transaction data • Experience designing and developing APIs from scratch and scalable microservices architectures • Hands-on experience with Java, Kafka, Pub/Sub, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Elasticsearch • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery and cloud-native data solutions • Experience supporting large-scale data environments handling millions of daily transactions and multi-billion record datasets • Experience leading small engineering teams or technical workstreams and driving multiple initiatives • Strong leadership and mentoring skills • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, product teams, and senior leadership • Background working in large enterprise organizations with complex, distributed systems and mission-critical applications • Experience with event-driven architectures, real-time data processing, and high-throughput transaction platforms • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field • Minimum 3 years of work experience
