📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and quality check evidence synthesis and analytical tasks and projects, including indirect treatment comparison, network meta-analysis, and survival/statistical analyses • Provide strategic and technical expertise to clients and internally using state-of-the-art evidence synthesis methods • Support preparation of HTA submissions • Develop study designs and analytic plans to answer research questions • Lead qualitative and/or quantitative analysis plans, literature reviews, statistical analyses, and client-ready reports • Develop deliverable document outlines and formats • Support project activities, complete internal documentation, and quality-check others’ work • Analyze research problems and integrate scientific tasks to achieve overall scientific goals • Develop scientific recommendations and identify methods that will not meet client goals • Maintain current subject-matter knowledge and best practices • Manage workload according to project scope, timelines, and quality • Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and related institutions • Draft or lead proposals based on client ideas or RFPs and modify them in response to client requests • Support business development efforts and lead smaller BD opportunities • Lead project teams, identify staff resources, present scopes of work, and provide direction and feedback • Manage projects against internal timelines and budgets • Mentor and coach junior staff and potentially provide formal line management • Comply with relevant SOPs, work programming, time-keeping, iLearns, policies, and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in systematic reviews and/or evidence synthesis • Experience across state-of-the-art evidence synthesis methods, including deterministic and Bayesian network meta-analyses • Proficiency in statistical packages for evidence synthesis, including WinBugs/OpenBugs and R • Understanding of the role of evidence synthesis within HTA processes • Ability to develop study designs and analytic plans • Ability to lead qualitative and/or quantitative analysis plans, including network meta-analysis, literature review, and statistical analysis • Ability to generate reports fit for client submission • Ability to provide scientific recommendations and technical expertise • Ability to manage projects against timelines and budgets • Ability to lead project teams and support business development • Ability to mentor/coach junior staff and potentially provide formal line management • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
