📋 Description

• Review, adapt, and develop existing materials into a fully self-paced curriculum • Author lessons, explanations, worked examples, activities, and assessments • Align content with iGCSE and International A-Level specifications, exam-board requirements, and mark schemes • Design auto-marked, self-checking, and teacher-feedback assessments • Structure and sequence content for independent learners using chunking, scaffolding, retrieval practice, and purposeful digital interactions • Build courses within school systems using agreed templates, technology, and brand standards • Create video lessons, voiceovers, screencasts, interactive tools, knowledge checks, and other digital learning assets • Apply accessibility and inclusion considerations, including SEND awareness, readability, alt text, and WCAG • Work to production schedules and delivery milestones • Submit drafts for editorial and QA review, revise based on feedback, and obtain sign-off • Ensure third-party content is legally licensed and intellectual property is compliant and properly owned

🎯 Requirements

• Current or recent teacher with a teaching qualification and strong subject and curriculum knowledge • Experience developing lesson materials for online delivery • Experience of asynchronous lesson design / course development • Understanding of designing for independent, self-paced learners • Assessment design aligned to iGCSE and International A-Level specifications, exam-board requirements, and mark schemes • Experience working with an LMS / VLE • Willing and able to record video lessons and voiceovers; comfortable on camera and mic • Awareness of accessibility and inclusion, including SEND, WCAG, and readability • Self-motivated and self-managing; able to work to deadlines remotely and autonomously • Experience of synchronous lesson design • Familiarity with iGCSE and International A-Level exam-board requirements and specification alignment • Interactive content authoring and interest in digital learning tools • Basic media editing • Understanding of GDPR, copyright/licensing, and safeguarding in online education • Teaching qualification • Must complete and submit the Inspired Application Form alongside a CV
