📋 Description

• Review, adapt, and develop existing materials into a fully self-paced curriculum • Author lessons, explanations, worked examples, activities, and assessments • Align content with iGCSE and International A-Level specifications, exam-board requirements, and mark schemes • Design auto-marked, self-checking, and teacher-feedback assessments • Structure and sequence content for independent learners using chunking, scaffolding, retrieval practice, and purposeful digital interactions • Build courses within school systems using agreed templates, structure, and brand standards • Create multimodal resources including video lessons, voiceovers, screencasts, interactive tools, knowledge checks, and other digital learning assets • Apply accessibility and inclusion principles, including SEND awareness, readability, alt text, and WCAG considerations • Work to production schedules and agreed course milestones • Submit drafts for editorial and QA review, revise based on feedback, and obtain sign-off • Use third-party content legally and create compliant, properly owned intellectual property for long-term use • Help shape King's InterHigh's asynchronous learning product and define high-quality self-paced online learning

🎯 Requirements

• Current or recent teacher with a teaching qualification and strong subject and curriculum knowledge • Experience developing lesson materials for online delivery • Experience of asynchronous lesson design / course development • Understanding of how to design for independent, self-paced learners • Assessment design aligned to iGCSE and International A-Level specifications, exam-board requirements, and mark schemes • Experience working with an LMS / VLE • Willing and able to record video lessons and voiceovers, comfortable on camera and mic • Awareness of accessibility and inclusion (SEND, WCAG, readability) • Self-motivated and self-managing; works to deadlines, comfortable working remotely and autonomously, and confident taking ownership of a course from initial specification through to finished build • Experience of synchronous lesson design (highly valued) • Familiarity with iGCSE and International A-Level exam-board requirements and specification alignment (highly valued) • Interactive content authoring (highly valued) • Basic media editing (highly valued) • Understanding of GDPR, copyright/licensing, and safeguarding in online education (highly valued) • Must be willing to work from the UK • Must complete and submit the Inspired Application Form alongside a CV • Subject expertise in French, Spanish, or German
