INDEPTH HYGIENE SERVICES LIMITED is a family-run specialist hygiene and fire-safety compliance services company with over forty years' experience. It provides damper and hygiene engineering, compliance testing and related maintenance to facilities such as schools, universities, hospitals, government buildings, sports stadiums and private companies. As part of PTSG Fire Solutions, the firm supports facilities and property managers to meet regulatory requirements, offers training for staff, and integrates into wider specialist building services for the construction and facilities-management sectors.

📋 Description

• Carry out fire damper inspections, testing and drop testing • Clean commercial kitchen extraction systems in accordance with TR19 Grease • Carry out ventilation and ductwork cleaning • Identify, record and report defects • Complete accurate job reports with photographic evidence • Work safely and professionally on customer sites • For Team Leaders, take responsibility for the team, site productivity, health & safety and quality of work • For 2nd Engineers, support the Team Leader in completing works efficiently and to the required standards • Travel to customer sites across the UK, including overnight stays where required • Work both day and night shifts depending on operational requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing, ductwork cleaning or a similar role is essential • Experience leading a team would be advantageous for the Team Leader position • A willingness to learn and develop within the role for 2nd Engineer positions • Full UK driving licence • Valid CSCS card • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check • A practical, can-do attitude • Good physical fitness and willingness to work at height and in confined spaces where required • Strong attention to detail and commitment to health & safety • Good communication and customer service skills
