📋 Description

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of hot and cold water services, cooling towers, and domestic water supplies • Perform Legionella prevention risk assessments and implement control measures according to L8 guidelines and HSG274 standards • Monitor water quality through regular sampling and testing and maintain compliance records • Execute planned preventive maintenance for pumps, valves, storage tanks, and distribution systems • Respond to emergency callouts for water system failures or leaks and perform repairs or temporary solutions • Coordinate with contractors on major repairs or system upgrades • Ensure compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Health and Safety at Work Act • Maintain logbooks, test certificates, and inspection reports • Prepare monthly compliance reports and support audits • Provide technical guidance to building managers and tenants • Respond to water-related queries and complaints • Support client meetings with technical recommendations and system performance updates

🎯 Requirements

• City & Guilds qualification in plumbing or water systems management, or equivalent experience • Legionella awareness training (BOHS P901 or equivalent) • Understanding of ACoP L8 requirements • Minimum 3 years experience in commercial water system maintenance • Valid UK driving license • Willingness to travel across London portfolio • Water treatment certification preferred • IOSH Working Safely qualification preferred • Experience with building management systems integration preferred • Previous facilities management or corporate real estate experience advantageous
