📋 Description

• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on legacy systems developed in PHP, ensuring stability, performance and alignment with business needs; • Identify bugs, investigate root causes and implement efficient solutions; • Implement improvements to existing features and address new business demands; • Ensure correct integration of PHP systems with external APIs, databases and other systems; • Keep documentation up to date, describing changes and enhancements performed; • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as QA, Product and other developers to ensure aligned, high-quality deliveries; • Apply best practices for version control, testing and code review, even in legacy environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields; • Minimum of five years of proven hands-on experience in developing and maintaining PHP applications, especially legacy systems; • Strong knowledge of older and recent PHP versions, as well as classic frameworks (such as Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony or Laravel); • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle); • Practical experience with financial systems, including banking integrations and boleto payments (Brazilian bank slips); • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and continuous integration practices; • Ability to work with legacy code, refactoring when necessary; • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team; • Analytical, resilient profile with a strong problem-solving focus.
