• Review VA decisions, rating decisions, denial letters, claim files, medical records, military records, and supporting evidence • Identify evidence supporting claimed conditions and theories of entitlement • Recognize evidentiary gaps and opportunities to strengthen claims • Apply attorney-developed case strategy to individual cases • Organize complex information into logical and persuasive case narratives • Draft written arguments supporting veterans' disability claims and appeals • Prepare case summaries, legal memoranda, issue analyses, and supporting documentation • Develop written narratives connecting evidence to legal theories • Translate complex medical and military records into clear, organized written advocacy • Revise and improve written work based on attorney feedback • Research VA regulations, rating criteria, and legal authorities • Review medical literature and technical materials when appropriate • Assist in identifying additional evidence needed to strengthen claims • Support attorneys through factual and legal research • Manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously • Ensure work complies with firm standards and attorney direction • Meet productivity expectations while maintaining quality standards • Contribute to continuous improvement of case preparation processes
