• Identifies, evaluates, develops and closes new customers and expands business at existing customers • Develop and execute a territory-specific business plan for the UK and Benelux • Negotiate and successfully close contracts for KBI services with Biopharmaceutical clients • Maintain high levels of engagement within the region through local events and meetings
• Technical Bachelor’s degree (science preferred) with a minimum of 9 years’ experience in business development in the European life science industry • Experienced in business development fundamentals including prospecting for suitable clients, establishing relationships with new prospects • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required • Familiarity with biopharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory requirements • Ability to travel up to 50% or more to visit client sites
