📋 Description

• Accountable for successful delivery of large-scale, high-quality solutions • Provide assurance and support to multi-skilled agile teams • Understand solution outcomes, technical implications, complexity, and design decisions • Work with senior stakeholders to agree architectural principles, strategic direction, and functional and non-functional designs • Manage architects and engineers and support their career development • Lead development of technology policies and standards • Develop customer relationships and account strategies • Share knowledge and mentor colleagues • Advise on new technologies and approaches • Manage, coach, and develop staff • Manage employee performance and assist with career development • Provide direction and leadership while solving challenging problems

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience being accountable for technology delivery challenges of different sizes and types • Ability to communicate technical designs clearly in conversation, documentation, and presentations • Ability to prioritize time across multiple major projects and deadlines • Experience leading and delivering software designs for multi-tiered modern software applications • Understanding of whole solution architecture concepts • Ability to communicate and negotiate architecture with senior stakeholders • Experience incorporating non-functional concerns into application design • Engineering background • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings • Experience developing business across an account with sales and account managers • Ability to build credibility and communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders • Understanding of commercial implications of design decisions • Experience influencing the commercial success of a product • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members and the wider community • Desirable: active participation in technology communities
