📋 Description

• Deliver testing services to customers through test consultancy, test preparation and test management • Review scope, process designs, configuration and business priorities to identify testing needs and risks • Support test strategy and planning, including objectives, scope, roles, governance, environments, data, criteria, reporting and delivery plans • Participate in test design workshops and create traceable unit and end-to-end test scenarios • Coordinate and monitor client-led test execution, including progress, evidence, blockers and retesting • Support issue triage, ownership, status tracking, investigation and resolution coordination • Maintain test information and produce status updates and dashboards • Contribute to quality gates, go-live readiness and test closure activities • Explain Workday testing approaches and deliverables to customers • Support customer testers and subject matter experts • Develop testing, Workday and business-domain knowledge through project experience and continuous learning • Improve test approaches, scenario assets, templates, tools and ways of working • Collaborate with customers, Kainos implementation teams and third-party implementation partners

🎯 Requirements

• Genuine interest in building a long-term career in software testing • Experience of, or exposure to, manual testing, quality assurance, business analysis, software delivery or test consulting • Analytical and inquisitive mindset • Interest in understanding business processes and systems • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills • Confidence working with customers and colleagues across distributed teams • Customer-focused, collaborative approach • Willingness to ask questions, learn from others and share knowledge • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, meet deadlines and raise risks or blockers promptly • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including in a remote working environment • Proactive, positive approach to learning new tools, methods, business domains and technologies • Good commercial awareness • Understanding of scope, quality, risk and delivery commitments • Desirable: understanding of test planning, scenario design, client-led test execution coordination, issue management, regression testing or test reporting • Desirable: current Workday certification • Desirable: experience with cloud-based business applications such as ERP, HCM, Financials, Payroll or CRM • Desirable: experience with test management or collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Azure DevOps or Jira • Relevant qualification or degree is helpful but not essential; equivalent practical experience is equally valued
