📋 Description

• Design and iterate crypto trading strategies • Identify signals in order book dynamics • Analyze trade flow, fill behavior, and short-term price evolution • State hypotheses and validate them on real historical data • Design solutions and collaborate with the development team to deploy them into production • Analyze feedback from the trading team • Refine performance and PnL metrics • Perform post-trade analysis • Continuously review trading logic • Own trading strategies end-to-end from first hypothesis to live PnL

🎯 Requirements

• Detailed understanding of trading strategies successful in a live HFT environment • Experience owning the full loop from idea and analysis through validation, live PoC, and iteration • Clear communication and ability to explain reasoning to various stakeholders • Ability to work effectively in a remote setup long-term or willingness to relocate • Career across several trading firms including a research-focused role • HFT or market making experience in crypto or traditional markets • Experience in proprietary trading firms or quantitative trading teams • Knowledge of order book mechanics • Knowledge of execution, slippage, and adverse selection • Short-term alpha generation experience • Cross-exchange arbitrage experience • Strong data skills in Python or similar • Ability to prepare and analyze large datasets • Disciplined approach to backtesting, evaluation, and risk management • Expert Python, SQL, and advanced .NET are bonus qualifications
