📋 Description

• Help us build tooling that enables our product delivery teams to go from idea to production, both safely and rapidly • Collaborate with other engineering teams to understand their needs and translate them into practical platform solutions • Work alongside other engineers in the team to design and implement solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience • Take ownership of tasks, while developing towards owning larger pieces of work • Contribute to ongoing learning and improvement through active participation in retrospectives and other agile ceremonies. • Work as part of a flexible support rota, during normal working hours, helping to triage and facilitate requests from other engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid communication skills and a collaborative approach to development. • Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider. • Familiarity with security best practices and automation tools. • Experience with some of the following areas, we’ll help you to learn the rest: • Terraform, CDK and CloudFormation • TypeScript or other strongly typed languages • CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog or similar monitoring/logging tools • Cloud Native/Serverless distributed architectures • Networking basics • Experience contributing to the operation of production systems, ideally in a distributed or cloud environment.
