📋 Description

• Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries, functions, views, and stored procedures for use in reporting and analytics • Design and optimize relational database structures that support transportation operations and business intelligence needs • Collaborate with clients to extract and prepare data from multiple transportation systems (TMS, routing, GPS tracking, etc.), via API, sFTP and other methods • Assist in building and managing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, supporting ETL processes between on-premises and cloud systems • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring reliability and accuracy of production data • Support data governance, documentation, and quality assurance initiatives across the organization • Participate in projects involving data warehousing, dashboard reporting, and KPI tracking related to logistics and fleet performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred but not required • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with databases or data-focused environments • Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server (queries, functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning) • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and a willingness to expand skills in cloud-based ETL and data orchestration • Solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and indexing principles • Experience working with large operational datasets, ideally in transportation, logistics, or supply chain environments • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
