📋 Description

• Work with the Global Head of RWD Data Strategy & Technical Solutions and the wider RWD team to understand shifts in RWD requirements and their implications for strategy and product roadmap • Identify use cases and requirements to address changes in technology and clinical practice • Evaluate medical literature, guidelines, and clinical information sources to identify changes affecting RWD requirements • Monitor AI technology developments affecting clinical interpretation, data generation, clinical analyses, and interpretation • Define and translate clinical concepts and requirements into data definitions • Collaborate with technical and business leaders to enhance RWD solutions • Define analyses confirming scientific and clinical accuracy and appropriateness of Labcorp RWD data and solutions • Refine data definitions, analyses, and interpretation with Labcorp clinical and scientific experts • Identify and implement AI solutions for clinical translation and data/product workflows • Serve as the primary resource for cohort and feature definition and clinical inquiries within the RWD team • Drive continuous improvement to enhance engagement, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency • Ensure timely input and resolution of clinical inquiries in data and product development and delivery • Establish relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare practitioners, academic institutions, and industry personnel • Present use cases, definitions, and RWD content and interpretations to internal and external stakeholders • Support congress and publication strategy and collaborate on external scientific communications • Attend key congresses to present findings and engage clinical leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Healthcare professional degree (e.g., MD, PharmD) with 3 or more years of clinical practice • 2 or more years of experience in RWD/RWE and/or healthcare analytics • Preferred: postgraduate research experience in Life Sciences (e.g., Masters, PhD) • Demonstrable experience in publication of scientific research and/or presentation at medical congresses on topics related to RWD/E • Knowledge and understanding of real-world data and the life science/healthcare industry • Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy laws and best practices • Deep understanding of medical coding ontologies (e.g., ICD-10, NDC, RxNorm) • Knowledge and experience leveraging AI tools for data generation, interpretation, and validation • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment with clinical, business, and technical teams and external partners/collaborators • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Strong planning, multitasking, and prioritization skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Critical thinking and sound decision-making • High level of persistence, professionalism, and positive attitude
