📋 Description

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying software for network control in cloud and specialized operating environments • Working alongside a team of developers and vendors to ensure software is fully integrated and operating as expected • Collaborating with colleagues to identify requirements and develop solutions • Conducting research and development in the areas of network protocols, drivers, and data network management software • Troubleshooting software issues and implementing fixes • Developing and maintaining technical documentation • Ensuring software quality by conducting code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing • Participating in project planning, including providing input on schedules and resource allocation

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Data network protocol, driver, or data network management software development experience • Solid foundation in industry/standard network technologies, routers, switches, spanning tree routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, PIM) and YANG • Experience with Routers/Ethernet/VLAN configuration and related network development and/or debugging • Linux system or networking administration (e.g., firewall configuration) • Open-source networking-related software (e.g., FRRouting, libyang) • NFV in VMs and/or container configuration and operation • Network Simulation, such as CORE and/or EMANE • Proficiency with C, C++, python and/or other scripting languages in a Linux environment • Project collaboration experience such as Confluence, Jira, and/or git • Experience with automating tasks with shell scripts (e.g., Python, shell, ansible, Jenkins) • Good verbal and written communications skills • Must be a U.S. Citizen
