📋 Description

• Safely operate Leep’s HV and LV electricity networks • Ensure authorised staff, ICPs, repair contractors and streetlighting teams follow Leep’s Distribution Safety Rules and Approved Codes of Practice • Build and maintain relationships with developers, ICPs, streetlighting partners, contractors and wider stakeholders • Onboard, technically assess and manage ICPs, developers and streetlighting partners for LV self-authorisation status • Support auditing and compliance management of designated Repairing Contractors, including onboarding, periodic reviews and site audits • Own, develop and maintain Approved Codes of Practice, Group Standard Operating Procedures and operational documentation • Ensure Transfer of Control activities comply with Leep’s codes, procedures, SHEQ policies, UK legislation, ENA Engineering Recommendations, Ofgem licence obligations and regulatory requirements • Coordinate supply restoration activities and manage incidents safely and within Ofgem standards of performance • Use network monitoring systems, live network drawings such as VizNet and operational tools for real-time network decisions and restoration • Support development, implementation and monitoring of Control systems, including SCADA and network modelling applications • Deliver Control training to Duty Control Engineers and provide operational and project-team guidance • Maintain auditable records, including authorisations, energisation requests, restoration activities, site mimics, control logs and handovers • Coordinate daily and weekly operational governance, Control handovers, meetings, action tracking and information requests • Monitor and manage the Control mailbox • Support operational risk reviews, budget planning, forecasting and continuous improvement • Participate in the 24/7/365 Control rota, undertaking the Duty Control and Supply Restoration Manager role on a 1-in-3 basis

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing LV network operations and supply restoration activities • Experience working under the direction of Control within a network operations environment • Strong working knowledge and application of safety documentation, including LOAs, Permits, TOCs, IOEs and SFTs • Hold industry LV and 11kV network authorisations, with a minimum qualification of SAP (11kV) • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise changing workloads and respond to urgent operational requirements • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining Control logs and network records • Strong communication skills with the ability to work professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all levels • Competent in Microsoft Office applications • A safe, pragmatic approach to network management, policy development and regulatory compliance • Desirable: Experience managing limited HV supply restoration activities • Desirable: Experience working within a Control environment • Desirable: Experience leading and coordinating remote restoration teams across both civils and electrical disciplines • Desirable: Knowledge and experience of street works and civils activities • Desirable: Experience developing Codes of Practice, operational procedures and other technical documentation
