📋 Description

• Build data products in partnership with data science and product teams • Architect durable data models with intuitive representations of residential real estate • Design graceful and reliable workflows to generate data assets • Inform the overall architecture of the data platform • Establish standards and best practices for data engineering • Become a domain expert in real estate • Provide high-quality data for underwriting, leasing, vendor management, and related single-family rental industry needs • Serve as a technical leader helping evolve products and establish best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working in data engineering or software engineering • Expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and building data pipelines at scale • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark • Expertise in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery • Experience scheduling and operating batch data processing workflows • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must answer whether visa sponsorship is required now or in the future to work in the United States • Bonus: Experience with Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or similar orchestration systems • Bonus: Data warehouse architecture and Change Data Capture modeling techniques • Bonus: Web scraping and data extraction from public or semi-structured sources • Bonus: Experience with AI/ML platforms such as SageMaker, MLflow, or similar • Bonus: Hands-on data platform infrastructure management using Terraform, Docker, and AWS services
