📋 Description

• Create functional requirements together with customers • Collaborate with UX designers to develop and implement requirements • Build efficient data-powered REST APIs in Python • Build end-to-end data pipelines and AI models needed for APIs • Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate APIs • Contribute to testing and bug fixes • Help build tools enabling smarter, more sustainable product-development decisions • Contribute to Makersite’s platform for product lifecycle management and sustainable supply-chain decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Python backend developer • Ideally 2+ years in a B2B environment • Comfortable speaking with customers clearly to understand requirements • Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or Bottle • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Experience with REST • Solid understanding of databases and SQL • Preferably experience with graph databases • Experience building data pipelines with complex data • Experience with large, enterprise-grade applications • Located in Germany or Europe • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering • Successful applicants are required to be based in Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, London, or Porto • Right to work in Germany, Spain, or the UK
