📋 Description

• Execute assigned projects from intake through completion, managing tasks, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables • Coordinate closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting, Operations, Legal, and Business Development • Serve as the primary project liaison across internal teams to drive alignment and accountability • Lead initiatives related to merchant onboarding, activation, and lifecycle workflows • Lead initiatives related to acquirer, processor, and sponsor bank requirements • Lead initiatives related to risk, fraud, compliance, and monitoring programs • Lead initiatives related to internal tooling, platform enhancements, and process improvements • Develop and maintain project documentation, status updates, and reporting for departmental leadership • Identify and proactively mitigate risks impacting acquiring operations or regulated/high-risk verticals • Ensure projects adhere to internal controls, card network expectations, acquiring expectations, and regulatory expectations • Support continuous improvement by refining project management practices and standards within the department

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of project management or operations experience in Fintech, payments, or financial services • Direct exposure to payments acquiring, merchant processing, or related payment operations • Working knowledge of the payment lifecycle, including authorization, settlement, chargebacks, and disputes • Experience using project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Monday.com • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Ability to translate operational, technical, or regulatory requirements into actionable project plans • Detail-oriented with the ability to see broader process and business impacts • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving payments environment • High degree of ownership and accountability • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams with competing priorities • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills • Clear communicator able to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams • Comfortable working in structured but evolving environments • Solution-oriented with sound judgment on when to escalate • Reliable follow-through and ownership of assigned work • Experience supporting high-risk merchant portfolios or regulated payment verticals preferred • Familiarity with underwriting, enhanced due diligence, or chargeback monitoring processes preferred • Prior collaboration with Risk, Compliance, or Legal on operational initiatives preferred • Exposure to acquiring banks, processors, gateways, or sponsor bank relationships preferred • Project management certification (PMP, Agile, Scrum) is a plus, not required
