📋 Description

• Prepares case files and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQ) assigned in the client portal. • Requests, downloads, and saves medical records in SharePoint. • Monitors provider portals for fresh cases and lists these cases in the VES sheet and sets up for billing in the case tracker sheet. • Monitors for addendum; prepares addendum sheet and tags the Nurse VA assigned to the case. • Case management - monitoring of timely submission of cases; monitoring for TAT (turnaround time achievement) • Prepares sign-in sheet and appointment forms, and submits sign-in sheet to VES after appointments. • Coordinates with the medical providers and other team members regarding the scheduled appointments per day. • Submission of provider available dates for scheduling of cases. • Keep track of billing and receivables; must perform billing and recon from time to time. • Document keeping (in SharePoint). • Must have good communication skills to assist the veterans, medical providers, and colleagues as well. • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. • Must be flexible in work changes, as needed. • Must be accountable for all assigned cases. • Maintain productivity standards with speed and accuracy. • Follows company policies and procedures. • Respects and maintains HIPAA confidentiality guidelines. • Assist in the creation of process-related templates, if needed. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager. • Takes care of incoming phone calls and initiates outside calls when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Administrative staff with excellent writing and organization skills • Attention to details • Familiar with MS Office, Google Sheets • Willing to be trained for Utilization review, case management, and/or medical file review • With Broad-based nursing knowledge and experience, critical thinking skills, and familiarity with evidence-based practice criteria and guidelines
